To provide a stud pin having excellent appearance and excellent electric characteristics without exposing a caulked portion.
This stud pin 1 includes a boss portion 2 fitted into a mounting hole S1 for a workpiece W, a locking flange portion 3 integrally provided at one end of the boss portion 2, and a projecting shaft 5 integrally provided at the other end of the boss portion 2. An annular groove 6 is formed in the end surface of the boss portion 2 on the side opposite to the flange portion 3. After the stud pin is caulked, since the boss portion 2 is expanded radially outward and cross-sectionally tapered so that its diameter is enlarged according as it is separated from the flange portion 3, the stud pin 1 is disengageably maintained. Since a caulked portion is not exposed, the stud pin has excellent appearance. Since the boss portion 2 and the workpiece W are fitted to each other without a clearance, electric resistance is not dispersed.
