To provide a member mounting structure in which a mounting member is easy to be assembled to a member for a vehicle.
An engaging piece 1 provided at a VSV is mounted to an air cleaner hose 2. In the engaging piece 1, a cross section when cut in a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of a through hole 5 is a flat shape surrounded by a short side part 11 and a long side part 12 which is longer than the short side part 11. A tip of the engaging piece 1 has a fitting projection part 10 whose width widens from a side end part in the width direction to the width direction. The width of a top part of the fitting projection part 10 where the width is the widest in the width direction is larger than the length in the width direction of an outlet opening end 5b of the through hole 5. A pedestal part 3 is a material softer than that of the engaging piece 1. At a long side facing part 52 which faces the long side part 12 of the engaging piece 1 in the through hole 5 of the pedestal part 3, a chamfer part 6 is formed.
