Abstract:
To reduce a risk of the occurrence of an accuracy error of tooth shape processing, and to make compatible both the reduction of a collision risk of a tooth tip and quietness.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a gear includes: a process of setting a function f(x) being a function f(x) for forming a prescribed tooth shape at the gear in which a surface shape from a tooth root of the tooth shape up to a tooth tip has an apex, a difference between a curvature radius of the surface shape of the tooth shape at the tooth root, and a radius of a circular arc contacting with the apex, or a curvature radius of the tooth root is within a prescribed value, a difference between the curvature radius of the surface shape of the tooth shape at the tooth root, and the radius of the circular arc, or a curvature radius of a parabola at the tooth root is equal to or larger than the prescribed value, and the curvature radius of the surface shape of the tooth shape at the tooth root becomes smaller than the radius of the circular arc, or the curvature radius of the parabola at the tooth root; and a process of forming the tooth root and the tooth tip by using the function f(x).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
