Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a connecting rod comprising a highly rigid material, which facilitates mechanical cutting of a bolt hole required at a large end part while holding high strength.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a connecting rod 1a at least includes the steps of: supplying a highly rigid material to a powder molding type to form a green compact 1; performing piercing at a position corresponding to a bolt hole of the connecting rod to be a molded article of the green compact 1; inserting a cutting material 6 into a hole 5 formed with piercing; performing sintering processing to a compact into which the cutting material 6 is inserted; and cutting a bolt hole 7 with the cutting material 6 in a sintered article after sintering processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
