Abstract:

To provide a plasma display panel having excellent operability by precisely grinding the barrier rib top part in working a plane by grinding the barrier rib top part for reliably installing the front face plate side and barrier ribs.

In this manufacturing method, barrier rib pattern gaps of a photosensitive film 414 is formed on a back face plate 406, and the barrier rib pattern gaps and the photosensitive film 414 surface are filled/covered with a barrier rib material 410. After drying this, the back face plate 406 is fixed in a plane state to the back face plate correcting jig 602 surface of a vacuum sucker 600 provided on a horizontal spindle surface grinding machine, and the barrier rib top part is automatically ground by a grinding wheel 502.
