Title:
MANUALLY OPERATED VALVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2679561
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a nimble operating force and feeling by forming a plated layer by means of electroless plating at least on the outer circumference of a land part of a spool in a manually operated valve which is constructed by inserting a spool, in which a land part is formed, into a valve body.
CONSTITUTION: In a manually operated multiple switching valve, a spool 3 provided with a land part 3a is inserted to the inside of a spool hole 1 formed in a valve body 2 freely slidably, and a fluid passage 4 is opened/closed by sliding of the land part, 3a against a return spring 5. In this case, a nickel plating layer, for example, is formed on the outer circumferential front face of the spool 3 by means of electroless plating, and finishing is carried out so that its face is turned from the condition indicated by a chain line to the condition indicated by a full line. In this way, the thickness of the plated layer 6 is leveled so as not to form a locally thicker part, which tend to be formed by electro-plating, and dispersion of the outer circumferential diameter of the land part 3a is set to be 1 micron or less so that operation feeling is increased.
