Title:
MALONYLISOFLAVONE GLUCOSIDE AND METHOD FOR OBTAINING ISOFLAVONE GLUCOSIDE OR ISOFLAVONE AGLYCON FROM THE SAME SUBSTANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08283283
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compound as a raw material of compounds having pharmacological effects such as antimicrobial, antioxidizing and carcinostatic properties by passing an extraction solution obtained by extracting soybean with water through an absorbent, absorbing an extracted malonylisoflavone glycoside and eluting the absorbed material with an aqueous solution of an alcohol.

CONSTITUTION: Soybean is heated so that the temperature of soybean becomes about 80°C under atmosphere of ≥120°C and divided into half by a rubber roller, cooled and seed coat is separated and removed, and the periderm-removed soybean is immersed in a warm water heated to 50°C for 2hr while controlling pH to 8.0 to be extracted and pH of the extract solution is controlled to 4.0 and the extract solution is allowed to stand and subjected to decantation to afford the supernatant. Then, the supernatant is passed through a column in which a synthetic absorbent is packed to absorb a malonylisoflavone glycoside in the extraction solution and the absorbed material is eluted using an aqueous solution of alcohol and the eluate is concentrated and purified by a gel permeation to provide the objective malonylisoflavone glycoside expressed by formulas I and II, etc., capable of providing isoflavone glycoside or its aglycon having estrogen action, antimicrobial action, antioxidizing action, carcinostatic action, etc.
