Abstract:
To provide a main spindle device capable of attenuating effectively vibration of a main spindle; and to provide a machine tool.SOLUTION: A machine tool includes a main spindle device 5. The main spindle device 5 includes a main spindle 20, a plurality of bearings 31-34, and a spacer 35. The main spindle 20 attaches a tool detachably. The plurality of bearings 31-34 are aligned in the axial direction of the main spindle 20, and supports rotatably the outer peripheral surface 20A of the main spindle 20. The spacer 35 is provided between a pair of bearings 32, 33 adjacent in the axial direction of the main spindle 20, among the plurality of bearings 31-34.
