Abstract:

To provide a magnetization method and a magnetization device for a rotor that can suppress variance in magnetic force of a magnet and efficiently magnetize the rotor of a magnetic flux concentration type motor when magnetizing the rotor.

A magnetization device 30 is used which includes a plurality of magnetization units 32 each having a pair of magnetization heads 31. A rotor 10 is positioned at the magnetization device 30 such that a pair of magnetization heads 31 face a pair of magnetic bodies 14. A magnetization unit 32 generates a magnetic field so that one magnetization head is an N pole and the other is an S pole, and a magnet 16 between the magnetic bodies 14 is magnetized. The respective steps are repeated while the rotor 10 is rotated. One object magnet 16A is positioned at every even-numbered magnet among magnets 16. At least two adjacent object magnets 16A are simultaneously magnetized by at least two adjacent magnetization units 31 having the opposite magnetic poles.
