Abstract:
To increase torque output.SOLUTION: A magnetic modulation gear device 1 includes an inner pole magnet 13, an outer pole magnet 22 provided on the outer circumferential side of the inner pole magnet 13, and a magnetic pole piece member 30 provided between the inner pole magnet 13 and the outer pole magnet 22. The inner pole magnet 13 has a configuration in which, on each of a plurality of magnetic areas 131 lined up along the circumferential direction, magnetic lines of force on any portion in the circumferential direction are parallel or oriented to be concentrated outside in the radial direction. Thereby, a torque output is increased by forming a point where the magnetic flux density is intensively high on the outside of each magnetic area 131.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
