Abstract:
To provide a magneto rheological fluid device which achieves improvement of responsiveness of acceleration and deceleration.SOLUTION: A magneto rheological fluid device includes: a case 2 in which a magnetic viscous fluid 6 is enclosed; a disc 3 in which at least a radial outer side area is formed by a magnetic substance and which rotates while contacting with the magnetic viscous fluid 6 at an interior of the case 2; a rotary shaft 4 fixed to a radial center of the disc 3; and a magnetic field generation part 5 which generates magnetic fields so that a magnetic path M passes through the magnetic viscous fluid 6 and the disc 3. The disc 3 includes: a first portion 31 extending in a radial direction on a radial cross section; and a second portion 32 extending from an outer edge of the first portion 31 to two sides in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
