Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simultaneously or continuously work in a condition that CG working and centering are chucked and to attain cost reduction with the omission of working processes by providing a chuck tab to be composed of a step part or a protruding thick part on one side surface to be the lens surface of a lens material. CONSTITUTION:In the outer circumferential edge part of lens material curved surfaces 1a and 1b, a chuck tab 1d is provided in a concentric ring shape in order to hold the lens material by a chuck 3. This chuck tab 1d is provided with adding 1-1.5mm to margin thickness which is obtained in a final shape 2 of a lens. The thick part of the chuck tab 1d is composed of the thick part which is parallel and rectangular with an optical axis. Thus, in the condition that a lens material 1 is chucked by the chuck 3, the CG working of the lens material curved surface 1a and the centering a circumferential side surface 1c can be simultaneously or continuously executed. Since the working process can be omitted, cost can be reduced.
