Abstract:
To provide a leak valve capable of maintaining pressure in an organ storage container without using a complex control mechanism.SOLUTION: A leak valve 10 fitted to a storage container 20 for storing a biological sample comprises: a housing 70 provided with a communication port 730 communicated with the inside of the storage container 20 and an air inlet 710 communicated with an outside space; an opening/closing plate 81 disposed in the housing 70; and a biasing member 84 for biasing the opening/closing plate 81. The opening/closing plate 81 can be moved between a closed position P1 where a first space S1 communicated with the air inlet 710 and a second space S2 communicated with the communication port 730 are shut off and an opened position P2 where the first space S1 and the second space S2 communicate with each other, and the biasing member 84 biases the opening/closing plate 81 in a direction from the opened position P2 to the closed position P1. When atmospheric pressure at the communication port 730 and atmospheric pressure at the air inlet 710 are approximately equal, the opening/closing plate 81 is pressed to the closed position P1 by the biasing force of the biasing member 84.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
