To provide a latching tool capable of suppressing movements of a latched apparatus to a minimum.SOLUTION: A latching tool 70 is mounted on a wall, can latch a latched object, and comprises a support part (extension part 72), a protrusion 73, vertical movement limiting parts (end faces 86 and 87), and horizontal movement limiting parts (edges 82 and 83). The support part is provided away from the wall with regard to a vertical direction, and can support the latched object from a lower side in a height direction which crosses the vertical direction. The protrusion is provided at an opposite side of the wall with respect to the support part with regard to the vertical direction and protrudes from the support part upward in the height direction. The vertical movement limiting parts are provided at an opposite side of the protrusion with respect to the support part with regard to the vertical direction and cooperate with the protrusion to limit a movement range of the latched object which is supported by the support part, with regard to the vertical direction. The horizontal movement limiting parts are provided outside of the support part with regard to a horizontal direction which crosses both the vertical direction and the height direction, and cooperate with the support part to limit a movement range of the latched object which is supported by the support part, with regard to the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
