Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water faucet which can be used at low cost even if the length or shape of a delivery pipe varies so that it can be easily adapted for the diversification in the form of the delivery pipe.
SOLUTION: Slit-shaped notches 18A, 18B are formed respectively at symmetrical positions on the outer periphery of the cylindrical forward end 21 of a joint pipe 2 provided on a body 1 of a water faucet, and the cylindrical proximal end 22 of an extension pipe 3 is fitted into the forward end of the joint pipe 2. And engaging grooves 24A, 24B are formed in the outer periphery of the proximal end 22 of the pipe 3 so as to be opposed to the notches 18A, 18B and an approximately U-shaped clip 26 is inserted into the grooves 24A, 24B from the notches 18A, 18B.
