When a pin bolt 3 is inserted into an internal cylinder 12 for a female joint 10, a coil spring 13 is compressed by being pushed by the pin bolt 3, and the internal cylinder 12 is retracted to a rear end plate 14 for an external cylinder 11. The diameter of the front end 12a of the internal cylinder 12 with a formed slit 12b is expanded at the same time, and the pin bolt 3 is intruded into the internal cylinder 12. Joining end faces 1a and 2a of both segments 1 and 2 are contacted with each other closely, the internal cylinder 12 is moved to the front end side by the elastic force of the coil spring 13 when a pushing force working to the pin bolt 3 is released and a front-end outer peripheral section 12c forming the tapered section of the internal cylinder 12 is abutted against the front end 11a of the external cylinder 11 formed in a tapered shape. The front end 12a of the internal cylinder 12 with the formed slit 12b is pushed from the side to the front end 11a of the external cylinder 11 and the diameter of the front end 12a of the internal cylinder 12 is expanded, the front end 12a of the internal cylinder 12 holds the side of the pin bolt 3 and is engaged.
