Abstract:
To provide an extremely simple structure and to fold it into an extremely small shape without bending rods by detaching not all the rods but part of the rods.
This joint 1 for folding tensegrity structure is so constituted, when detaching a connecting rod 3, as to be foldable. This joint 1 is provided with a joint body 4 connecting the plurality of rods 2 in such a state as tilting their tip parts. The joint body 4 connects the respective rods 2 so that the tilt centers of the respective rods 2 are positioned on a circular locus and connects the rods 2 in such manner that the tilt surfaces of the respective tiltable rods 2 are deviated from the central point of the circular locus.
