Title:
JIG FOR PENETRATING WIRE HARNESS INTO VEHICLE BODY THROUGH-HOLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015173532
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig which prevents a wire harness from being damaged and improves penetration work efficiency during work for penetrating the wire harness into a through-hole on a vehicle body panel.SOLUTION: A jig for penetrating a wire harness into a vehicle body through-hole includes: a trumpet-shaped cylinder having a shape retention force for a circular truncated cone shape formed of a resin molding or hard rubber molding; and a separation part formed of one slit extending over a full length in an axial line direction from a small-diameter end to a large-diameter end which are both ends in the axial line direction. Both sides sandwiching the separation part are overlapped by a required width in accordance with an inner diameter of the through-hole to provide a required outer diameter. A small-diameter-side outer peripheral surface of the trumpet-shaped cylinder is made to adhere to an inner peripheral surface of the through-hole, and the large-diameter end of the trumpet-shaped cylinder is disposed toward an insertion side of the wire harness. The wire harness is penetrated into the through-hole while being bundled within the trumpet-shaped member, and pulled out after the penetration work.
