Abstract:
To effectively ensure time when a piston is positioned at a top dead point, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 10 includes: a cylinder 13; a piston 20 stored in the cylinder 13 so as to reciprocate; and a connecting rod 41 which is coupled to the piston 20 through a piston pin 21. The piston pin 21 has first journal portions 22 and 23 rotatably journaling the piston 20; and a second journal portion 24 rotatably journaling the connecting rod 41. An axis of the second journal portion 24 is provided eccentrically to axes of the first journal portions 22 and 23 in a diametrical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
