Title:
INTERMITTENT DRIVING DEVICE, AND PAPER FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE USING THE INTERMITTENT DRIVING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011185293
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an intermittent driving device or the like capable of quickly switching between transmission and cutting off of drive by displacing a connecting member, by supporting a cam member on a shaft on which an input gear, an output gear, and the connecting member are supported, and changing the state of the cam member.

This intermittent driving device includes: an input side connecting member rotating by being connected with the input gear; an output side connecting member switching between a state of being connected with the input side connecting member and a state of being disconnected from the input side connecting member, and rotating by being connected with the output gear; a first cam member including a cam part having a shape for inducing the output side connecting member to move in a direction separating from the input side connecting member, and releasing the connection with the input side connecting member; a second cam member relatively rotating with the first cam member; a rotation applying member for applying power to relatively rotate the first cam member with respect to the second cam member; and a switching mechanism for switching between a state for enabling induction of the cam part of the first cam member to function and a state for disabling the induction by changing the state of the first cam member or the second cam member.
