Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an intermittent device which can suppress the lowering of an operation speed caused by the flow resistance of a lubricant while simply constituting an actuator for moving an intermittent member for intermitting connection between rotating members; and a differential device.SOLUTION: An intermittent device 11 comprises an intermittent member 5 which is regulated in relative rotation with a differential case 2, and has engagement teeth 521 engaged with a first side gear 31, and an actuator 10 for moving the intermittent member 5. The actuator 10 has an electromagnet 61 and a yoke 62, and a plunger 7 constituting a magnetic path of magnetic flux, and moving in an axial direction together with the intermittent member 5. The plunger 7 has a cylinder part 71 and a side plate part 72, and is formed with a penetration hole 720 which can make a lubricant circulate therein. A total sum of an opening area of the penetration hole 720 which can make the lubricant circulate in a lower part than an oil level S of the lubricant is larger than a total sum of an opening area of the penetration hole 720 which can make the lubricant circulate in an upper part than the oil level S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
