To provide an intermediate film separating method by which a glass and an intermediate film can be separated in a short period of time and the separated intermediate film can be recycled at low cost.
In the intermediate film separating method, a liquid tank 20 has a container 22 holding an intermediate film separating liquid 22 and a temperature control unit 23 controlling the intermediate film separating liquid 21 at a predetermined temperature. First, purified water is charged into the container 22 as the intermediate film separating liquid 21 then the temperature of the charged purified water is controlled at 55°C. Glasses 11, 12 of a laminated glass 10 are crashed while submerging the laminated glass 10 into the purified water whose temperature is controlled. Extending and contracting operation in which the length of the laminated glass 10 is extended and contracted so as to become two times of the original length is repeated three times while submerging the laminated glass in which the glasses are crashed in the purified water.
