Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated wire which is inexpensive and excellent in mechanical characteristics, flame retardancy, and heat resistance.SOLUTION: The insulated wire includes a conductor and an insulating layer arranged on the outer periphery of the conductor. The insulating layer is formed of a fluorine-containing elastomer composition. The fluorine-containing elastomer composition contains: a base polymer (A) containing 70 to 98 mass% (inclusive) of a copolymer (a1) of tetrafluoroethylene and a C2-C4 α-olefin and 2 to 30 mass% (inclusive) of an ethylene-ethyl acrylate-maleic anhydride terpolymer (a2); and a flame retardant (B) containing an antimony compound (b1) and a bromine-based flame retardant (b2). The fluorine-containing elastomer composition contains, based on 100 pts.mass of the base polymer (A), 1 to 20 pts.mass (inclusive) of the antimony compound (b1) and 0.3 to 15 pts.mass (inclusive) of the bromine-based flame retardant (b2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
