Abstract:
To provide an insulated wheel that can reduce weight, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An insulated wheel 20 in which a wheel is applied with insulation includes: a metal inner ring 30; an intermediate wheel 50 made of an insulation member and disposed at an outer peripheral surface 32 of the metal inner ring 30; and a metal outer ring 40 disposed at an outer peripheral surface 52 of the intermediate wheel 50. In the insulated wheel 20 in which the wheel is applied with the insulation, the intermediate wheel 50 is formed so as to have specific gravity that is smaller than specific gravity of the metal outer ring 40. The intermediate wheel 50 is formed so as to have a thickness that is thicker than a thickness of the metal outer ring 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
