Title:
INERTIAL CLASSIFIER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003154291
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an inertial classifier which efficiently removes fine powders electrostatically sticking to particle surfaces of particulate matter while classifying the particulate matter after regeneration.

An air nozzle 4 for dividing air stream which curves a flight course of the particulate matter M in accordance with a particle size of the particulate matter M by blowing an air jet against the particulate matter M released from the tip part of running course of a belt conveyor 1 is disposed near the tip part. This inertial classifier is also provided with an air nozzle 5 for removing fine powders which removes the fine powders N electrostatically sticking to a belt 10 surface by blowing air against the belt 10 surface after releasing the particulate matter and a dust collecting duct 6 which sucks the removed fine powders.
