A bar code label stuck to a film pack loaded in the radiation image information recording apparatus is read, previously set film information is compared with film information obtained from the bar code label, and these informations are displayed on a screen. An operator can judge whether the film pack should be replaced or whether forced processing should be continued according to the informations displayed on the screen.
