Abstract:

To provide a direct-writing lithographic printing plate on which an image can be formed without ablation and which does not require any treatment.

This image forming member consists of a supporting body on which a hydrophilic image forming layer containing the following two types of polymers is formed. They are vinyl polymers having positive changes and containing repeating units having pendant N-alkylated aromatic heterocyclic groups, and hydrophilic thermosensitive polymers selected form non-vinyl polymers containing repeating org. onium groups.
