Title:
HYDROGEN PREPARATION PROCESS AND DEVICE USED FOR THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3678662
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparing hydrogen which remarkably reduces the cost for hydrogen preparation, allows no loss of the precious cold energy and reduces facility costs and running costs.
SOLUTION: In the process, the hydrogen prepared by using hydrocarbon as a raw material is introduced into a low-temperature adsorption part 16. The hydrogen is purified through adsorption and removal of the impurities in the hydrogen at a low temperature as it passes through the low-temperature adsorption part 16. Here, the cold heat of liquefied natural gas is used as a cooling source for retaining the low temperature, and after finishing its role as the cooling source, the vaporized natural gas is used as a raw material for composing the hydrogen.
