Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of torque due to leak of oil and to prevent the occurrence of malfunction of a part owing to choking with contaminants.
SOLUTION: A hydraulic type power transmission coupling comprises a containing hole 61 formed by expanding a delivery port 14; a drain hole 65 to intercommunicate the containing hole 61 and the low pressure chamber 54 side; a ball 66 contained in the containing hole 61 and closing the drain hole 65; and a weight member movably contained in the containing hole 61 and moved by a centrifugal force when a car speed attains a specified value and pressing the ball 66 for movement and opening the drain hole.
