Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce size and weight, and improve controllability of a hydraulic power transmission joint for distributing a driving force of a vehicle by displacing an actuator by a specified angle according to an electric supplying rate to a solenoid, and controlling a hydraulic pump discharge oil controlling valve with this displacement.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic circuit is formed through magnetic frames 19, 20, an actuator 16, a projection 16C thereof, and projections 21A, etc., of the magnetic frames 19, 21 (the projection of the frame 19 is not shown) by supplying electricity to a solenoid 22. A torque is thus generated in a direction that the projection 16C of the actuator 16 is agreed with the projection 21A of the magnetic frame 21. The actuator 16 is rotated by a specified angle through this torque. According to the electric supplying rate, a condition is varied from a locking condition to a condition where an orifice 17 formed on the actuator 16 is closed by a valve 9 and a releasing port 18 is communicated with a discharge port 13 of the valve 9. Oil in a high pressure chamber 12 is supplied to a low pressure chamber 34. The torque is varied by thus controlling the electric supplying rate, and a locking or free condition can be obtained.
