To provide a hydraulic device and a power transmission that can stabilize support in the axial direction of a cylinder block without causing the relative position change of a cylinder block and one wall of a case even if the case is thermally expanded.
A nut 40 is screwed with an input shaft 21 with a locking flange 46 to press and fix an inner ring 38b of a conical roller bearing 38, a sleeve 37, an inner ring 38b of a conical roller bearing 39, a sleeve 41 and the cylinder block 42, and to clamp a side wall member 30 from both sides by both conical roller bearings 38, 39. Since both conical roller bearings 38, 39 clamp the side wall member 30 from both sides, even when the case 26 (the side wall member 30) is extended in the direction of an axis O by thermal expansion or the like, fixing force in the direction of the axis O of the cylinder block 42 can be kept constant.
