Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic coupling having a gas-liquid separation device which separates air from a working fluid with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A hydraulic coupling includes: an impeller 1 and a runner 2 which are disposed facing each other; a scoop tube 30 for increasing and decreasing an amount of a working fluid in a fluid chamber 5 formed between the impeller 1 and the runner 2; a working fluid circulation line 27 extending from the scoop tube 30 to the fluid chamber 5; and a gas-liquid separation device 28 which is connected with the working fluid circulation line 27 and separates air flowing into the scoop tube 30 with the working fluid from the working fluid. The gas-liquid separation device 28 is a cyclone type gas-liquid separation device which revolves a fluid mixture of the working fluid and the air to separate the air from the working fluid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
