To provide a hydraulic continuously variable transmission that can miniaturize a cylinder block commonly used by respective first hydraulic device and second hydraulic device and in its turn miniaturize the whole device.
This hydraulic continuously variable transmission 20 is constituted by combining a variable displacement first hydraulic device 100 projecting and retreating a plunger 43 by a ring member 45, with a second hydraulic device 200 provided with an output rotating cylinder 23 rotated relatively to or synchronously with input rotation by the contact of the plunger 58, sharing a cylinder block 42 enclosing both plungers 43, 58, and rotating the cylinder block 42 synchronously with the input rotation. The plungers 43, 58 of both hydraulic devices 100, 200 are constituted to project and retreat in the radial direction of the cylinder block 42.
