Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce a kind of dioxin generated in exhaust gas when treating a material to be treated at high temp. in a high temp. furnace at >=1000 deg.C. SOLUTION: At the time of exhausting the exhaust gas from the outlet 28 of the exhaust gas in the high temp. furnace 10 after sucking into a duct 26 with a blower 33 together with the high temp. treatment to the material to be treated in the high temp. furnace at >=1000 deg.C, a gap 32 between the outlet 28 of the exhaust gas and the duct 26, is formed and the exhaust gas from the high temp. furnace 10 is rapidly cooled by sucking the air from the outer part of the furnace together with the exhaust gas into the duct 26. Further, the suction quantity of the air at this time is adjusted to the quantity by which the exhaust gas temp. lowers to <=400 deg.C within at least 1 sec.
