PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet including a click mechanism with various advantages.SOLUTION: A hot water mixing faucet 10 has a handle 14 and a valve assembly 40. The valve assembly 40 has a lever shaft 46 and a click engagement part. The click engagement part has a click guide surface m1 containing a click generation surface m20, and a click elastic body containing a movable end KD, where the movable end slides on the click guide surface m1 with relative movement. When a contact passage of the movable end KD on the click guide surface m1 in relative movement in a first direction D1 is defined as a first passage, and a contact passage of the movable end KD on a click generation surface m20 in relative movement in a second direction D2 is defined as a second passage, the first passage is different from the second passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
