Abstract:
To a holding brake device which certainly prevents a holding brake from rotating at the time of extraordinary blackout.
The holding brake device is a negative operating brake which restricts an electric motor shaft by operating if power supply to an electric motor is shut off. In the holding brake device (1) provided with: a rotary disc (8); an armature (5) adjacent to the rotary disc (8); the first spring (4) which pushes the armature (5) to a side plate (7); and the first coil (3) and a yoke (2) which drive the armature (5), it is provided with: protuberances and recesses on the armature (5); and a block (14) having protuberances and recesses on the rotary disc (8).
