To provide a high pressure hydrogen supply system, achieving heat efficiency as a whole, offering smaller construction as a whole while maintaining predetermined hydrogen supply performance and being easy to install as a hydrogen station.
The high pressure hydrogen supply system produces hydrogen, compresses the produced hydrogen and supplies the high pressure hydrogen to hydrogen consuming installations. It comprises a hydrogen producer for producing hydrogen, a hydrogen compressor for compressing the produced hydrogen down to predetermined pressure, a hydrogen supply for supplying the compressed high pressure hydrogen to hydrogen consuming installations, a combustion turbine generator for covering all or part of power consumed in the high pressure hydrogen supply system, and a heat exchanger incorporated in the hydrogen producer for covering all or part of the quantity of heat required for dehydrogenation reaction using high temperature exhaust gas from the combustion turbine generator as a heat source.
