Abstract:
To provide a high-frequency heating device where a measure to protect a magnetron is taken at low cost.SOLUTION: A high-frequency heating device comprises: a magnetron having a temperature characteristic; an inverter circuit part including a switching element for generating a high-frequency power for driving the magnetron; an input power detection part for detecting an input power supplied to the inverter circuit part; and a control circuit part for controlling a conduction time of the switching element. The control circuit part suppresses a situation where an electric power supplied to the magnetron varies in accordance with an increase in temperature of the magnetron resulting from progress of a heating operation, and performs control to maintain an output of the magnetron constant by changing the conduction time of the switching element. The conduction time is determined with reference to conduction time determination information, an operation state of the magnetron is estimated on the basis of a change amount of the conduction time determination information, and the magnetron is protected by performing control so that a guarantee value of the magnetron is not exceeded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
