Abstract:

To provide an aqueous solution of a heat resistive-oxidation resistive covering material, which allow for prevention of spalling of refractory products such as refractory bricks and castable used in a high-temperature atmosphere, prevention of retardation and reduction of clinker adhesion, cracking, breakage, disruption, thickness loss and the like, and prevention of high/temperature oxidation of refractory casts, and metals such as stainless steel, iron and heat resistive metals, and a method for covering the aqueous solution.

The aqueous solution of the heat resistive/oxidation resistive covering material includes an alkali metal silicate compound, a boric acid compound, a manganese compound, a cobalt compound, a zinc compound, a magnesium compound, and inorganic heat resistive aggregates including zirconium oxide, aluminum oxide, silicic anhydride, kaolinite, titanium oxide, ferrosilicon and mica. A method for covering the aqueous solution of the heat resistive-oxidation resistive covering material is also provided.
