To provide a heat recovery apparatus which reduces an energy loss in chlorine bypass equipment, prevent an apparatus from corroding and can be used under a severe environment.
The chlorine bypass equipment 1 including a bag filter 9 for collecting finely powdered dust having a high chlorine concentration from a bled combustion gas which is bled from a kiln exhaust gas flow channel from a kiln bottom of a cement kiln 2 to a cyclone of the lowest stage while cooling a part of the combustion gas is provided with a heat recovery apparatus 6 for recovering sensible heat of the combustion gas using a lump-like or a chain-like solid heating medium on the inlet side of the bag filter 9, a medium dust arrester 7 for removing dust attached to the medium, a heated medium feeder 8 for conveying the medium heated by the heat recovery apparatus 6 and a re-heater 12 for heating gas discharged from the bag filter 9 through the medium risen in temperature by the heat recovery apparatus 6. The long-term operation of the chlorine bypass equipment 1 is carried out by reducing the energy loss and also preventing the apparatus from corroding by the gas having strong corrosiveness.
