Title:
HEAT-DEVELOPABLE SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND COLOR IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3683659
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the heat-developable photosensitive material small in load on the environment and adapted to simple and rapid image formation and high in sensitivity and low in fog by incorporating a specified compound and specified silver halide grains in a photographic constituent layer.
SOLUTION: The photographic constituent layer contains one of the compounds represented by the formula and the like and a photosensitive emulsion contains silver halide grains comprising ≥50mol% silver chloride, and their outer principal faces comprise (100) faces and the projected grains have rectangular forms having a length to breadth ratio of 1:1∼1:2 and an aspect ratio of ≥2 and ≥50% of the projected area is occupied by these flat grains. In the formula, Y is -N(R1)-SO2 or -N(R2)-SO2-N(R3)- or the like; R is an alkyl or alkenyl group or the like; X is -O- or -S- or the like; M is an H or alakli atom or the like; R' is an H atom or a group substifor H; each of R1-R3 is an H atom or an alkyl group; (n) is 0, 1, or 2; and (m) is 4-n.
