Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail pipe fastening device low in cost, applicable regardless of the material of a handrail pipe, mountable to a joint part of the handrail pipe with simple operation and having sufficient mechanical strength in the fastened state.
SOLUTION: A handrail pipe fastening device has a fastener 2 protrusively provided with a protruding part 4 protruded from a base part 3 and provided with a fastening threaded hole 7 vertical to a protruding direction, a handrail pipe 1 fitted to the outside of the protruding part 4 and provided with a fastening through-hole 12 bored corresponding to the opening position of the fastening through-hole 7 in the rear wall surface 6 of the protruding part 4, and a fastening screw 13 thread-fastened into the fastening threaded hole 7. With the fastening screw thus fastened into the fastening threaded hole 7, the screw tip 14 side and the rear wall surface side of the protruding part 4 respectively press the inner surface of the handrail pipe 1 so as to fasten the handrail pipe 1 to the fastener 2.
