To provide a hand-tightening torque nut that is screwed onto a tightening target by hand-tightening, and in which the maximum allowable torque can be set to a relatively small value with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: A hand-tightening torque nut 3 comprises a nut body 31 having an inner cylindrical part 311 with body-side protrusions 313 protrudingly formed on the outer periphery thereof, and an outer ring 32 having an outer cylindrical part 321 with ring-side protrusions 323 protrudingly formed on the inner periphery thereof. Only a pair of body-side protrusions 313 are provided at positions where the central axis of the inner cylindrical part 311 is interposed between therm, and at least one pair of ring-side protrusions 323 are provided so as to be engaged with the pair of body-side protrusions 313 at the same time. The outer cylindrical part 321 has non-formed portion facing portions 321a that face portions of the inner cylindrical part 311 where the body-side protrusions 313 are not formed. The non-forming portion facing portion 321a is configured to be elastically deformable radially inward of the outer cylindrical part 321 without being hindered by the body-side protrusions 313.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
