Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide of a cross head bearing in which friction loss can be effectively reduced.SOLUTION: In a cross head type Diesel engine, a guide 6 of a cross head bearing contacts with a cross head bearing reciprocatively moving integrally with a piston, in which lubricant is supplied to a slide contact surface between itself and the cross head bearing and a plurality of recess parts 6d is provided. In an area 6cm where the speed of reciprocation of the cross head bearing slidably contacting is fast, formed are the recess parts so as to become higher formation density than those in areas 6cu, 6cl where the speed is slow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
