Abstract:
To extensively improve the durability of a guide bush, so as to improve the cutting amount and the processing speed by an automatic lathe.
A hard quality carbon film 15 is provided on the inner peripheral surface 11b where a guide bush 11 which is provided to an automatic lathe, and holds a workpiece 51 rotatable near a cutting tool and slidable in the axial direction, slides with the workpiece 51, directly or through an intermediate layer to improve the close contact property, or by providing a hard member and directly or through an intermediate layer to improve the close contact property.
