Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an insertion force for a grommet inserted in a through hole of a vehicle body panel, and to give a click stop feeling immediately before mounting the grommet.
SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusions 20 extending in the axial direction leaving spaces in the peripheral direction are formed along the external peripheral side of a diameter-expanded cylindrical part, and a groove is formed in a recess between the protrusions. Projecting amounts of the protrusions are changed at a contact point of the grommet and the internal surface of the through hole in inserting the grommet in the through hole; the protrusions are bent at a point where each height of the protrusions becomes the same height of the tip of an inclined wall, a linear plane having the same height of the tip of the inclined wall is provided, and a detent groove 50 is formed at the linear plane.
