PURPOSE: To enable the diversification of products such as glass fittings and a display and also cost reduction with simple constitution in a glass system using double-layer glass.

CONSTITUTION: In a glass system using double-layer glass with two pieces of plate glass 1, 2 opposedly disposed with a constant space and with the periphery sealed by a sealing member 3 so as to seal the inside between the glass plates, sealing liquid is filled in the space between the plate glass 1, 2, and solar radiation shielding plates 5a, 5b, 5c are disposed in the sealing liquid 4. These solar radiation shielding plates have such a characteristic as to be in the sunk state at the stationary time and to float as the temperature of the sealing liquid rises so as to function as a blind at the floating time.
