To solve the following problem associated with conventional motors that most machines require a speed reducer at high-speed rotation, by providing a gapless motor that is of low speed, large in torque, and resistive like a brake motor when stopped.
Each slot (11) of the gapless motor attracts a rotor ring (5) as an electromagnet only when electricity flows. This motor is a low-speed motor. The rotor ring (5) is sequentially attracted to the slots (11) throughout the circumference by 1 Hz of alternating current and is rotated opposite to a rotating magnetic field by an amount equivalent to a difference between the outer circumference of a stator core (1) and the inner circumference of the rotor ring (5). This motor does not require bearings and is thus resistive to rotate when a current is not passed.
