To provide a fuel reforming device high in reliability and applicable to a gas turbine power generation system and provide the power generation system of high reliability provided with the fuel reforming device.
In a cylindrical fuel reforming device covered with a heat insulating layer 16, a fuel passage 1 partitioned by a cylindrical partition wall 2 is formed in the center axis direction, and an intermediate part of the fuel passage 1 is provided with a reforming catalyst layer 3 for reforming gas to be reformed, flowing from the upper reaches of the fuel passage 1, into specified reformed gas. A cooling jacket 10 is disposed on the upper reaches of the reforming catalyst layer 3 in such a way as to surround the fuel passage 1, and water vapor 11 for cooling the cylindrical partition wall 2 is supplied into the cooling jacket 10. The cylindrical partition wall 2 on the upper reaches of the reforming catalyst layer 3 is provided with a plurality of nozzles 15 communicating the cooling jacket 10 with the fuel passage 1 so that water vapor 11 introduced into the cooling jacket 10 is discharged to the fuel passage 1.
