The separator to constitute a fuel cell 11 is provided with a pinching part which pinches an electrolyte-electrode assembly and has a fuel gas passage, a first bridging part in which the fuel gas supply passage is formed, a fuel gas supply part in which a fuel gas supply communication hole is formed in lamination direction, a second bridging part in which an exhaust fuel gas passage to exhaust the fuel gas used in the electrolyte-electrode assembly as an exhaust fuel gas is formed, and an exhaust fuel gas discharge part 42 in which an exhaust fuel gas communication hole to flow the exhaust fuel gas in lamination direction is formed. The exhaust fuel gas discharge part 42 is communicated with the fuel gas passage through the fuel gas supply communication hole.
